Internet Explorer Shortcuts

For those who are particularly “computer savvy,” keyboard shortcuts generally make life easier and faster.  The same holds true for Web surfing.  Although I’m not one who memorizes such shortcuts too often, I did find the following interesting and useful…especially when I’m having trouble with my mouse.

These IE shortcuts will come in handy for keyboard-happy surfers.

Internet Explorer Shortcuts

Keys

Switch between full-screen and regular views of the browser window

F11

Move through items on a Web page; from the Address bar to hyperlinks

TAB

Activate a selected link

ENTER

Go to your Home page

ALT+HOME

Go to the next page

ALT+RIGHT ARROW

Go to the previous page

ALT+LEFT ARROW or BACKSPACE

Refresh the Web page

F5 or CTRL+R

Stop loading a page

ESC
