The Faculty
Instructional Technology Training Center is
a place where faculty can learn core computer competencies, experience
cutting edge instructional technology, incorporate technology into
successful teaching models, explore new ideas, and share experiences with
each other.
The Faculty
Instructional Technology Training center (FITT) is a comfortable,
technologically-advanced
environment for exploring and developing instructional applications of
technology,
receiving consultations, and for delivering small-group training sessions.
The FITT center is available for use by Columbia State Community College full-time and part-time faculty. The
FITT center has 9 networked computers for training sessions and 2 faculty
resource computers available for use, along with two flatbed scanners and
CD-ROM burners. Each computer has Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 with
FrontPage.
It is our goal to keep this site current with information that will assist
faculty with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
